The Common Business Communication Language
This paper, published in 1982, proposes a language for inter-business inter-computer communication. Most of the ideas in this paper have been re-invented in connection with electronic commerce, specifically in connection with XML.The Common Business Communication Language, published in 1982, proposes a language for inter-business inter-computer communication. The proposal was considerably more advanced than X12 that came along some years later.
